Lowlights
Instagram has Highlights.
These are my Lowlights.
Every project here was made for a job application that ended with a "Thanks, but we've decided to move forward with other candidates."
The rejection emails didn't make the portfolio, but the work did.

This project was created as part of a job application that asked candidates to turn a PDF into a short graphic video. Using Canva, I color-matched the organization's branding, sourced imagery that fit their visual style, and adapted the content into a more engaging format. While I didn't get the role, I'm proud of how the project turned out and the opportunity it gave me to apply the skills I developed during my internship.

For this project, I reimagined an existing Instagram post as part of a design assessment. I chose a post that allowed for more creative freedom while staying true to the organization's brand identity. By maintaining the established color palette, creating custom graphics that reinforced each tip, and ensuring the design fit seamlessly into the existing feed, I balanced creativity with brand consistency.
Created as part of a marketing assessment for Penguin Random House's Vintage Books, this mock Instagram campaign celebrates Jane Austen's 250th birthday. I styled and photographed my copy of Pride and Prejudice, using a linen dress and soft morning light to capture the romantic atmosphere of the 2005 film adaptation. I then edited the imagery and designed a mockup of the Vintage Books Instagram feed to showcase how the campaign could come to life on social media.
